Community Fridge & Pantry

Take what you need. Leave what you can.
Image of a wooden structure with a slanted roof, cupboard, small set of plastic storage drawers, and a mini fridge. A sign at the top, just under the roof reads: Rosedale Community Fridge & Pantry.

Inspired by the Toronto Little Free Pantries Project, the *Rosedale Community Fridge & Pantry is a shared, outdoor food access point available to everyone — no registration, no questions, no judgement.

It works because it’s:

  • local
  • visible
  • community-supported

What you’ll find

  • fresh and shelf-stable food
  • rescued produce
  • shared pantry items

Growing the network

We don’t just run the fridge & pantry — we actively support others who want to start one. That includes:

  • sharing setup guides
  • offering lessons learned
  • helping build a decentralized network of no-barrier food access points

Food access improves when it’s everywhere, not centralized.
